Synopsis
This one-day course teaches you the basics of using the XQuantum XML Database
system. During the course, you will build a sample XML application with a
web interface.
This exciting and timely course builds on widely used Internet standards such
as HTTP, XML, HTML, XSL and extends them with XQuery, a language for
the 21st century. The skills you will learn have broad application throughout

Who Should Attend
You should have a grasp of programming languages and database fundamentals.
A knowledge of HTML and web technologies is a plus. Previous experience with
XML and XQuery are not required.
Course Requirements
You should bring a laptop running Windows 2000 or XP with a CD-ROM drive.
Internet Explorer 5.0 or later or Netscape 6.2 or later shoud be installed.
